My mom has been busy getting my "meaty legs" more "meaty" for my fall agility trials and pushing me for more distance work. Time will tell if I decide to give mom that magic 75% Q rate she has been aiming for for quite some time!
In the meantime, I have to send out my loudest, heartiest BARK BARK for mom's "man" Grady Sizemore of the Cleveland Indians for becoming the first player since 2005 and only the 10th player in the AL history (and 32nd player in the history of the MLB) to reach the magical club of 30 Home runs and 30 Stolen Bases in a season. As of Monday night's game, he has 34 stolen bases and 31 home runs (2 in the game), and is well on his way to joining the Elite group of 40/40 by season's end, of which only 4 other major leaguers in history have ever reached that milestone!! All this done with the sweet humble attitude that Grady is known for. Grady-- YOU DA MAN!!!

And, what a way to finish off the Beijing Olympics-- Team USA beats China for overall medal count and our Men's Volleyball won an emotional gold medal for their coach whose Father-In-Law was killed at the games.

Hope to have some good agility updates in the next few weeks! Stay tuned!

Great post!
I love the Meaty Legs concept. I'm doing quite a bit of swimming in Nantucket Sound while fetching balls—mom's cross-training me for more agility work this fall.
Congrats to you on Grady! And we loved both volleyball wins by the USA teams. The Chinese women's team was some good competition, but Misty and Kerry never give up. They are my heroes.
