Chaney had a so-so trial coming away with her (yes typical) 50% Q rate getting 7 Qs in: Elite Regular (2), Elite Jumpers, Elite Weavers, Elite Tunnelers (2), and Elite Touch N Go. We all thought Chaney could make a good run at another Elite Chances Q, but both days she decided she didn't want to show how good she had become with distance and only worked about 50% of the courses correctly. Mom says Chaney is going to get more practice as these are important runs. She got 3 First place finishes which we were all proud of in Elite Regular, Elite Jumpers, and Elite Weavers!
Her NATCH Qs are slowly adding up, but she still has about halfway to go. Let's go Chaney!!
We had a blast this weekend chatting with our good friend from our club Heidi (a.k.a. "Dave's Groupie") and her dogs Annabelle, Stitch, and Chloe:
and always enjoy chatting with friend Leath McLaughlin and his wife Karen. Chaney LOVES flirting with his boys Merlin and Blast. I even got a chance to say "hi" to Blast before Chaney's Sunday runs!
Our favorite portrait photographer didn't show up this time. We had planned to get Halloween and our annual Christmas portraits taken, but since he didn't come, we had to settle for some casual Halloween photos in the hotel after a long trial day. I think I look like an idiot. Maybe that is because mom was laughing at me. Can't she find some dignified costumes for us??

Right now I am resting in my crate after a case of the runs after eating some of Chaney's treats this weekend. We are looking forward to her next trials. Let's wish Chaney good luck on getting some Elite Chances Qs soon!
