Then it MUST be a feather duster!! Well, not quite. It's MY TAIL! Mom always said it looked like one. Check out this rear shot of moi. Can't even tell where the tail ends and the caboose begins! :) My tail isn't silky, just fluffy, especially when Mom grooms it. I love using it to call attention to a situation like a deer does with it's tail. It's kind of my "beacon" and I make full use of it, whether dusting floors, instigating Chaney to play with me, or waving it wildly in the air when I ask mom to bring me my kong! I haven't brought any ships in to shore yet, tho...~Skye-guy
