We just got back from a LONG drive from Omaha where Chaney competed in another NADAC trial. It's her 5th trial in 2 months, and she is still having her weave woes. Mom is frustrated and can't figure out how to "fix" Chaney. So, after multiple massages from Julie and Susan and adjustments from Dr. Rodney, I hear she is going to be training a LOT as she has another trial in a few weeks. So, due to Chaney's persistent weave woes, her usual 50% Q rate is a thing of the past these 2 months. At this trial, Chaney got 3 Qs-- 1 Elite Regular, 1 Elite Touch N Go, and yes.... 1 Elite Chances!! :) Chaney figured that 'if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy' and she thought the drive home would be much happier if she gave mom the Chances Q after how distracted and slow she acted at the rest of the trial! :) Technically, 2 of the Qs go towards her NATCH. Now, Chaney just needs 4 Elite Regular Qs and 8 Elite Chances Qs for her NATCH.

We were proud of Chaney as she scored the **first** Chances Q in the trial. The day before, no competitors (Elite, Open, or Novice) Qualified in Chances the course was so hard. Today, Chaney was one of 4 out of 10 Elite dogs who Q'd. It was an easier course than the day before so mom was happy about that!
After Chaney's run, we go to enjoy some "pool time" at the site. Well, I enjoyed it much more than Chaney. I even tried "swimming" in the water once when it was about 6 inches deep. (I'm so talented, my abilities go much farther than my Pet Idol persona and lovable personality!)

Chaney gives an Elite Chances Q smile!

All of this trial excitement made for an exhausted boy at the hotel!

So, more training for Chaney in the future. Good! Maybe mom will forget about training for me for Rally Advanced with her priorities on "fixing" Chaney! LOL!
