Mom pulled her off of her first Excellent Standard course as Chaney wasn't running like her usual self. She also gave a similiar performance in day 2's Standard course, so mom scratched her Standard run on day 3 as she wanted to concentrate on the Jumpers Q. We figured out with the help of our friend that Chaney had some really tight muscles that we tried to massage out. Also, a place on her back that she frequently has problems with was inflammed and tight. So, before day 3, Chaney got to wear a little ice pack to help take the swelling down. She really liked how it felt! :) She is going to see her chiropractor this week! We think her tight muscles and her back being out of alignment were making her feel less than great and were causing a majority of her issues.
We got to meet some awesome new friends who own CH Noteworthy Movin' ToThe Music RN MX MXJ NF CGC-- Dawn and her daughter Julie, who runs "Taz" and "Skye"! They are so much like my mom and grandma sandi it is scary!! :) They just came from the BC Specialty so mom and Julie got to talk all about the BCs there! Ironically, they met my half-brother, Shanghai's family-- Judy and Merl, out there and know Chaney's half-brother Cole's mom, Nickie Vanek, and will be having a litter with Chaney's dad, Ember!! Small world!! Chaney got to flirt with Julie and Dawn's boy Skye, along with her longtime boyfriends Chip and Pinch at the trial! As usual, we got to have fun outside of the trial taking more photos with Mom and playing in the hotel! Up next for Chaney... more NADAC trials and hopefully lots more Qs to put towards her NATCH quest! Me, cuddling up with mom!
Playing with my woobie!
And, enjoying the hotel bed. Only special Pet Idols get to lay on the bed!!
Us posing with Mom's alma mater mascot, the KU Jayhawk--

Here is a video of Chaney's 2 Excellent Jumpers Qualifying runs, with the last one getting her her AXJ title! Looking forward to some NADAC trials coming up and more fun in the hotel rooms for me!

Pawsome job Chaney!!! You got tons of ribbons there. Sooo kool! I enjoyed watching you in action. You went at a good steady pace & it's usually best to not go too fast coz when going too fast in a small course like that can cause more faults right? Anyway, congrats once again!
